How does DZ Counter work?

DZ Counter is a lightweight and discreet audience measurement system that analyzes and displays website visitors by their country of origin. It works without cookies, without intrusive tracking, and without collecting personal data, in full compliance with web best practices and visitor privacy.

1️⃣ Widget Integration

From the Installation page, you generate a unique JavaScript code associated with your website. Simply copy and paste this code into your pages (HTML, PHP, CMS, WordPress, Wix, Blogspot, etc.).

No server configuration or advanced technical skills are required.

2️⃣ Automatic Country Detection

Each time a page containing the widget is loaded, a lightweight request is sent to the DZ Counter servers. The visitor’s IP address is used only to determine their country, strictly for statistical purposes and in a fully anonymized way.

3️⃣ Data Security and Reliability

Each widget is associated with a unique Site Key automatically linked to the originating domain. This prevents fraudulent use of the widget on another website and ensures the reliability of the displayed statistics.

4️⃣ Real-Time Statistics

Statistics are updated automatically with each new visit. You can view visitor distribution by country directly in the widget embedded on your website, as well as in the dashboard for more detailed analysis.
